I'm one of those science/math people. I frequently solve problems by putting everything in terms of x. I have been known to start off conversations with the phrase, "Well, speaking on a purely molecular level..." I think that most things in life come down to the simple fact that force equals mass times acceleration. I like playing with integrated circuits.

I'm a fantastic comic book nerd, with my favorite groups being the Avengers and the X-men. My favorite characters, hands down, are Bobby Drake and Tony Stark. I am fiercely loyal to these guys, even when they fuck up royally or act like complete asses. Bobby’s up there because I’ve been following his character since I was 10. He’s just… well, Bobby. That’s why I love him. Tony Stark is a more recent addition. Having dealt with addiction in the past, I find a sympathetic character in Tony. That and did I mention I like science? I like to write fanfiction for fun on my weekends off; you’ll find plenty of it here.

Even though I can be a big pain in the ass geek, you probably wouldn't guess it by looking at me. I’m most comfortable in jeans, a t-shirt, and running shoes. I have quite a few tattoos and a couple of piercings. I’m built pretty solid. I’m a Sagittarius, so I like physical activity (when I can find the time to squeeze it into my day). I like running, but only when it’s cold outside. I also enjoy martial arts; Muay Thai Kickboxing is my preferred fighting style. I’ve had my share of injuries: I’ve broken a few bones, dislocated both knees, and partially ruptured one of my Achilles tendons. I take a licking and keep on ticking!

I like reading fiction and am in love with Sherlock Holmes. I have more books than I have space on my bookshelves. I have a substantial (albeit eclectic) iTunes library that is almost always playing in the background. I don’t think I could watch TV without my TiVo because I get too distracted by other things to remember to watch my favorite shows. I will also go weeks at a time without turning on the TV. I am quite hopelessly addicted to Diet Coke.
